3 EASY STEPS TO ONLINE BANKING
Benchmark's Two-Way authentication can be confusing for first time users. Please take a moment to read the description below before proceeding.

Step 3: Set Security Data.
The information you enter on this screen will be used for our 'two-way' authentication system that helps you and the bank verify each others identity on the internet.

Image and Passphrase
Your authentication passphrase can be any phrase you like. It is used, along with your authentication image, to help you verify you are actually communicating with Benchmark Bank. We keep your phrase and image protected so only you and us know them. Each time you log on to online banking in the future, we will display both your image and your pass phrase for you to verify before typing your password. If you see both correctly, then you are on the legitimate Benchmark Bank website and it is safe to proceed.
If you do not see the correct image or pass-phrase when you log on, you are not on the Benchmark Bank site and your privacy is at risk. Stop and immediately call the bank.

Challenge Questions
The challenge questions are used only when you sign on from a computer you have not used before. There are many different questions - be sure to choose those that will be easy for you to remember. After completing the questions, you can choose to 'register' the computer you are using. Only do so if the computer is a personal or home computer. When a computer is registered, the challenge questions will no longer appear.
